Join Our Educational Bioreserve Community Focused on Botany, Learning, and Research
The Bioreserve is an educational non-profit dedicated to advancing knowledge in regenerative farming, conservation, horticulture, and botany. At the heart of our mission are our volunteer opportunities, which include both overnight work-trade programs and educational volunteer days. These opportunities offer hands-on learning in fields such as regenerative farming, arboretum management, nursery management, and conservation practices.

Work-Trade Opportunities at the Bioreserve
Our work-trade program provides overnight accommodations in cabins located above Emerald Falls. These facilities include a shared indoor kitchen, full bathrooms with hot water, and showers. Cabins are double occupancy.
Participants join the work crews from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday, engaging in meaningful projects that support the Bioreserve’s mission. In addition to accommodations, work-traders have opportunities for additional income through hourly pay or weekly stipends.
This is a unique chance to immerse yourself in an environment focused on botany, horticulture, and conservation while contributing to projects that make a tangible impact.

- Our program is not meant to be an option for a beach or surfing vacation, we are looking for sincere students of horticulture, regenerative farming and forestry.
- By joining our community, you are also committing to our Kuleana. This means being responsible, caring about others and no pot smoking and no drug use.
