Sign up for community lectures and volunteering opportunities

Before you sign up for a volunteer educational event or lecture at the Mauna Kea Cloudforest Bioreserve, please review these guidelines:

  • Purpose-driven participants – We welcome individuals genuinely interested in horticulture, regenerative farming, and forest stewardship.

  • Shared snacks – We’ll provide wholesome, farm-grown snacks—bananas, taro chips, seasonal fruits, fresh herbs, and more. In the spirit of generosity, feel free to bring additional snacks or treats to share with the group.

  • Kuleana (shared responsibility) – By joining us you agree to act responsibly, care for the land, and respect fellow participants.

  • Inclusive community – We are LGBT-friendly and uphold a zero-tolerance policy toward prejudice of any kind.

Thank you for honoring these commitments as we learn and grow together.
