We are committed to sustainable tourism, this means we manage the number of visitors to our farm to the lowest possible numbers to not degrade your experience and to keep a light footprint on the land. A visit to the cloudforest will always feel intimate and personal and facilitate a better connection to nature.

We currently offer private tours which include a one hour guided walk through the conifer and palm gardens followed by a swim in the waterfalls.

book an overnight stay at the Kikala waterfall lodge

The lodge is located inside the Bioreserve and offers full access to the Bioreserve.

volunteering and community outreach

The Bioreserve is committed to non-profit education, you can come to the Bioreserve to learn about forestry by volunteering. We also offer free farm related events and other free educational programs to the community. .

Visiting the Arboretum

We currently offer private tours which include a one hour guided walk through the conifer and palm gardens followed by a swim in the waterfalls. You can book a tour via an Airbnb experience.

We have a large collection of exotic palms and conifers from all around the world, with a specialty on Madagascar and New Caledonia Palms

The biggest waterfall has a large and deep pool, Emerald Falls further below has a medium size pool.

The Arboretum includes a lush forest of native Hawaiian plants including Koa, Hapu'u and many other native plants
